Girls - 1/16/12 - Congratulations to Kara Taulbee of Walton Verona and Rianna Gayheart of Owen County for being named NCKC Players of the Week. Kara was named MVP of the 8th region All “A” Classic. She averaged 17 points per game during the tournament. We heard from Coach Clinkenbeard also added that Kara is 36 points from the 1,000 mark that she should get in the next few games. Rianna scored 43 points, had 12 assists and 7 steals in 3 Class A games.
Congratulations also go out to Walton Verona and Coach Clinkenbeard for winning the 8th Region Class A tournament held at Williamstown. Good Luck in Frankfort.
Boys - 1/16/12 - Congrats to Gallatin County's Zac Brown for being named player of the week. Zac averaged over 24 points and 6 rebounds in 2 wins last week.
